Just Fun Stamping

It’s My Party Occasions Suite

It's My Party Occasions Suite

I am sharing some additional CASEd items from Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions catalog.  This catalog starts with a suite of products for “It’s My Party” shown on pages 4,5 and 6.  It includes It’s My Party designer series paper, Party Wishes stamp set, Party Punch Pack, Baker’s Twine Combo Pack, It’s My Party designer washi tape and It’s My Party enamel dots.

Party Wishes, It's My Party Occasion SuiteThe color palette centers around Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron, Sahara Sand and Whisper White.  My birthday card differs from the catalog sample in that I did not have the washi tape at the time of assembly.  Instead I used the returning window sill thinlit from the Hearth and Home thinlit dies with the designer series paper.  Don’t you love the bold colors of confetti and balloons against the black background?  It makes for a festive birthday card!

Party Wishes, It's My Party Occasion SuiteThe inside of the card repeats with the confetti designer paper.  I stamped the cake image on the whisper white banner and added my favorite sentiment from the coordinating Party Wishes stamp set “A party without cake is just a meeting.”  That sums up my feeling on the matter, LOL!

Party Wishes, It's My Party Occasion SuiteThe Tag a Bag Gift Boxes (page 151 in the Annual catalog) were decorated similarly to the tiny boxes on page 4 of the Occasions catalog.  I used two strips of designer paper, adhered in the middle and fringe cut the sides.  Tie a piece of the Bakers Twine around the seam, finish with a bow and your gift box is done.  The colors were chosen for a feminine and a masculine theme.

The “It’s My Party” suite will end up being my go to set for birthday cards this year.  The fun and festive colors will bring a smile to whomever receives the card.

Don’t forget about the earlier announcement on the January 10th post.  To help celebrate the Sale-A-Bration period, I am giving a set of 6″x6″ Wildflower Fields designer series paper plus the What I Love photopolymer stamp set at the beginning of February.  What do you need to do?  Just make a comment on any (or all) January posts.  I will choose a random winner on February 1st.  You must be able to provide a US mailing address to receive my gift.

Have fun stamping,

Katy

Very pretty! I haven’t used that DSP yet. I need to get it out after seeing how striking that pattern looks on white cardstock. It doesn’t need much at all to look absolutely stunning. Great CASE CAS card! LOL
