I apologize to everyone at the lateness of this post and would like to thank everyone who left a comment for me in March on any of my posts. After using the random number generator, I determined the winner for the blog candy is shellsq922 for her comment on my Remarkable You for PPA 291 posted March 11th. She said…
Such a stunning card, Katy! I love the embossed pool party panel behind your gorgeous lilies!
Congratulations, Michelle; I will be sending you an email for your US mailing address.
My blogging this month in April may still be spotty at times for additional reasons. Yes, Libby’s insulin glucose curve is still above acceptable limits (latest test yesterday). Yes, my household is still in a sorting mess combining the personal items for two households (thank the sweet Lord that we have gotten to this point!). But most important is the newest development… My oldest miniature schnauzer Annie, of ten years, became sick last Thursday. We took her to the vet on Thursday and again on Saturday. Then on Sunday, we decided she needed additional care that could only be provided by our Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic. The most probable diagnosis is pancreatitis, which can occur with this breed, but that testing was negative. We were asked to see her yesterday afternoon to see if she would eat for us (which she did not). Our visit with her only enforced our knowing that she was unusually painful and unusually unresponsive. We concurred with the decision for exploratory abdominal surgery which was done late yesterday afternoon. Everything appeared normal. A relief for us as we tearfully envisioned so many scenarios. But we are still confused why Annie appears to be in so much pain! As I tearfully finish this post thinking about my baby, I know that you will understand my absence. Please say a prayer for our Annie… she really deserves your well wishes.
Hugs my dearest Annie,
