I am thrilled to show a lovely Santa’s Sleigh Z-fold card that my friend Paula Butler shared with our Pretty Pals group. She freely admits that she was inspired by another card posted on Pinterest. She changed it up a little and made a project for her club members. Being mesmerized by its beauty, I asked if I could share it with you since she does not blog.
So far I have used Santa’s Sleigh stamp set for one card thus far. I quickly discovered that the dimensions of the die cuts do not lend well to a “normal” size card. Perhaps I see why the Stampin’ Up! designers used a home decor frame to show off this lovely stamp and thinlits sets. It never occurred to me to use a Z-fold to accommodate the length. I may have used this fold once but it was such a long time ago. The following information was provided by Paula. If you have any questions about this Santa’s Sleigh card, please leave them in the comments section of this post.
“The Z-fold base card is 11 x 4-1/4″ using Thick Whisper White cardstock. Score at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″. The band that the sleigh and reindeer are attached is 11 x 1-1/4″. Score at 5-1/2″ and 8-1/4″
All white cardstock was embossed using the Softly Falling TIEFolder.
The pieces could have been stamped with the coordinating stamp set but I really liked my use of the gold and silver foils and did not want to distract from it.”

Do you see why I loved this card so much? If you would like to follow Paula, she can be reached at http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/paulaspretties/. She is a very successful Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the Myrtle Beach, SC area giving lots of opportunities for classes, etc. If you are local to that area, I would highly encourage you to see what she has to offer. Tell her that Katy sent you, LOL….
Have fun stamping,
