I have had a ton of fun playing with the Everything is Rosy product medley kit! The colors are bold and beautiful… just right for birthdays! My Rosy Birthday cards were designed using the sketches from two challenges… namely, Freshly Made Sketches and Repeat Impressions blog at The House That Stamps Built. So I am submitting these cards to their respective sketch challenges.
First, Freshly Made Sketches Rosy Birthday card…
After making a few cards, I wanted to see how the Lovely Lipstick color looked with the Rosy color palette. And it is a great color to add! It gives a “pop” without the “hot”! The versatile FMS challenge #390 sketch was a fun way to combine two designer papers from the Rosy kit. And I am determined to finish this post in time to enter the challenge this time around (unlike the last one, LOL!).
Second, the Rosy Birthday card for Repeat Impressions at The House That Stamps Built…
The Repeat Impressions card sketch allowed me to use four different designer papers against Smoky Slate cardstock. The Smoky Slate had more blue tint then Gray Granite and, therefore, was a better gray match. I used the birthday sentiment from All That You Are stamp set since it had the vertical font approach.
The rose gold foil flower die cut looks almost orange in this photo. I am not sure you can see it better in the following close up…
So, hopefully, I have not shared too many Everything is Rosy card samples with you! Why? I have so many more to post! You may think I have had way too much fun!
Just a quick post… please let me know if you have any questions!
Have fun stamping,
