Crafting Forever is a great stamp set to showcase paper piecing ideas! My problem was that I wanted to use all the images, LOL. That made for a very busy picture. But, I am demonstrating the idea of paper piecing and not how to arrange images for a pleasing composition. So, I am happy with the image and card layout as it is! The Sisterhood of Crafter’s “paper piecing” challenge starts today. So, please come join us in our gallery!
- Stamp Sets: Crafting Forever, Brushwork Alphabet (retired)
- Papers: Pretty Peacock, Crumb Cake and Natural Ivory (retired) cardstock; See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper, Regals Designer Series Paper
- Inks: Pretty Peacock, Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaMark
- Tools & Accessories: Paper Snips, Stitched Labels dies, Signo White Gel Pen, Silver emboss powder, Fine-Tec Pearlescent inks, Word Window punch (retired), Frosted Epoxy Droplets, various Copic markers, various Prismacolor colored pencils
The paper piecing technique is lots of fun. Particularly if you have good designer series papers with various colors and image styles. If the stamp set has a coordinating die set, you have a win-win situation! Some crafters find fussy cutting very tedious. I generally like it unless the image is VERY intricate. So, come join the fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters blog challenge! We would love to see you in our gallery!
Please let me know if you have any questions. In the meanwhile,
Have fun stamping,
