Just Fun Stamping

Daisy Delight for Debbie’s Birthday

Secret Stamper & Just fun Stamping are sisters!  Did you know that?  (chuckle)… many of you do.  When it comes to our “Smith family” birthdays, we are very used to it being convenient.  Birthday “seasons” are very much our forte… I spent the weekend of Debbie’s birthday (along with my sister Denise) at her house in Michigan.  We were there for her son’s (Adam) wedding to Farah.  In my normal fashion (which is slow) I managed to make birthday cards for Aly and Sarah, and a wedding card for Adam and Farah ahead of time.  But Debbie’s birthday (which of course was in the middle of the festivities) needed more thought).  So I left for Michigan unprepared for Debbie’s birthday (but ever so proud for the cards that I did finish!)

Daisy Delight, Big on You, Lovely Friends, Happy Birthday Gorgeous, Stampin' Up!

Debbie is so forgiving.  I would attend Stampin’ Up! conventions at the end of July to pick up anything special that I thought she would like.  So, we are used to “birthday seasons” bringing gifts later!  But I wanted to make a special card for her, eventually.  So I picked the Daisy Delight stamp set and punch for this card.

This card is an upright Z fold.  It uses an easel to provide stability.

Yes, I worked the dimensions totally to fit my end card.  Who doesn’t? The overall dimension for the closed card is 6 x 6″.

So, sweet sister, you have waited more than a month for your birthday from someone who loves you more than is possible.  You received my gifts yesterday.  I love you…

Have fun stamping,

The finished card when folded is 6 x 6″. You would need to step down the additional layers. Hope you play with this fancy fold!

Aw, Katy, no photo would ever capture the beauty in this card! I absolutely love it and adore you for making it for me. This card officially closes my birthday season, making it the “grand finale” and it really can’t get better than this!

Katy… I love those family traditions. My sister still hasn’t sent the card she said she was sending last December. What a fun card for a fantastic lady from a “ph”enomenal sister.

I don’t understand what you mean when you say just step down dimensions. Could you please give more information. Are there 2 pieces of paper involved in the folds? What are the dimensions of the papers and where are the score lines. I really love your card but can’t quite figure it outThank you.
