Daydream Medallions for PPA 250 Color Challenge

PPA250There is a new color challenge for PPA #250 this week!  Did you conjure up any specific stamp sets or designs for this challenge?  For once, I did!  With it being retiring season at Stampin’ Up!, I had several thoughts.  Two of these colors are on the retiring list this month.  Also, there is a retiring stamp set that I have used several times over the past year that I thought would set off these colors with style.  That stamp set is Daydream Medallions.

Daydream MedallionsI used all three colors for my medallions on the base layer.  The gathering focal point includes Coastal Cabana thick baker’s twine, Hello Honey Quilted Cotton Ribbon, Gold Sequin Trim and a 2013-2015 in-color embellishment clothespin. The sentiment came from Petite Pairs which survived this year’s retiring list.  I am so very glad since this is one of my most favorite sentiment stamp sets!  A Starburst framelit , also on the retiring list, frames the sentiment layer.  The inside card layers were made from Floral Frame framelits, the retiring Perfect Polka Dot TIEF and the two stamp sets Daydream Medallions and Petite Pairs.

Although this is a “goodbye” for the 2013-2015 In-Colors that Stampin’ Up! will retire this year, it is also a celebration of those colors and products that will be repeated on so many Stampin’ Up! blog sites this month.

Come take a look at the projects created by the PPA Design Team members this week… we hope to inspire your creativity to play along with us.  I hope to see you in the Gallery…  In the meanwhile…

Have fun stamping,

Beautiful card! I have always loved Daydream Medallions but did not play with it enough. I think it will be staying in my collection though along with the coordinating framelits. Beautiful card to show off a great color combination!
