This week’s new color challenge at Pals Paper Arts Challenge #303 features an inspiration combination by our own resident artist Shawn de Oliveira. And what a great combo it is! Please come by our challenge blog and take a look at all the wonderful inspiration provided by the PPA color team! Since I had not yet inked up the preorder stamp set Fabulous Flora, the tone on tone stamping with Sahara Sand cardstock and ink was a great way to provide a botanical background. Then the details came together…
The Botanical Builder framelits and Swirly Scribbles thinlits dies provided the “floral” die cuts for this card with the Fabulous Flora panel as the background. The sentiment was die cut using the Banners framelits. I will admit that I cut several of these dies images in both Mint Macaron and Night of Navy to see which combination I liked the best. Now I have extra pieces for a future project!! My finished card is 6″ x 6″. Adding the additional panels helped with obtaining a finished card of that size. And, of course, it needed a custom made envelope.
What do you think of the washi tape used for the inside panel. Such an easy way to add a little color!
Have you been by the Pals Paper Arts Challenge blog to see all the wonderful projects provided by my teammates to help inspire you to join us this week? We are so hoping that you will join us this week. See you in the gallery…
Have fun stamping,
