“I look at Fabulous You stamp set featured as a new stamp set in the 2012 – 2013 annual catalog by Stampin’ Up!, and I ask myself “why did it take so long to ink up these images for the very first time?” This is a perfect example of a stamp set purchased because I knew it would provide the “perfect image” at a very desired time! And it did! I have a wonderful friend/”sister” who has a birthday today. We (my husband and I) met her and a friend (whom we are getting to know and love) at a favorite local restaurant last night to celebrate her birthday. The best part of the night was that she dressed in colors that would ultimately coordinate with the gifts that she would receive… the worst part of the night was that my card (very painstakingly made just for her) somehow missed being picked up for giving. However, they did come by our home after dinner to say “hi” to my two fur-babies (who adore her) and allow me to locate and give her “the” card.
This is an example of how I manipulated the sketch challenge to fit my desired images. It was flipped and modified… no question about it. But, I loved the final result and it was so perfect for the recipient! Shoes are such a “girly” delight for those who can “endure” (my personal thought) the beauties of shoes that give height and beauty to a particular dress or outfit. Me? I look for low height comfort that will allow me to wear them for more than five minutes. Too bad since I am so short! My first pair of heels were purchased 16 years ago when I was taking ballroom dance lessons. They had to teach me how to walk in them!
Please come by the RRCB blog to check out the additional inspiration provided by the Design Team for this sketch challenge. We are hoping that you will find something to inspire you to participate.
Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you have any questions or concerns or just comments that I love to receive…
Have fun stamping,
