Do you like to do tic tac toe challenges? Retro Rubber has a great one for you to participate in. Challenge 82 starts today and ends on March 23rd. Just pick 3 elements that form either a sequential column, row or diagonal line. Easy peasy! Can you guess which I chose for my “Love is Kindness” card? I did end up changing my mind on the direction since the image was better suited to thank you than to happy birthday. I had aimed for the bottom row but ended up with the middle column. No matter!
Love is Kindness was introduced in the 2015 Occasions catalog by Stampin’ Up!. During that same period of time, blendabilities were also made available for purchase. Unfortunately these alcohol markers were discontinued due to manufacturing defects. Since I loved working with the alcohol markers, I decided to invest in Copics. After acquiring many of the Copic markers, an improved version of SU alcohol markers was released last Fall. This card was colored using those markers.
The designer series paper is available in this year’s catalog. It is called… wait for it… Delightful Daisy. Layered Leaves, a dynamic textured emboss folder, is used to dry emboss a sheet of vellum. This was placed over Daffodil Delight cardstock. I used a couple of non-SU dies to obtain the oval and scalloped frame shapes. The card base is Very Vanilla as is the coordinating baker’s twine. Did you notice the sparkle of the Dapper Denim glitter enamel dots? Such a sweet detail!

The card inside was finished using another coordinating piece of the DSP. The two stamp images are from this year’s Occasion stamp set Hanging Garden.
