This has been a much anticipated day for many of us Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, but particularly me! Yesterday we were allowed to place a pre-order from the new Stampin’ Up! catalog which debuts to the public on June 2, 2015. Sneak peeks of upcoming products is one of the greatest benefits of being an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, and I am very appreciative of that benefit. I placed an order very early on Tuesday, chose overnight delivery and have had a great time playing with some of our new products today! Also, during the pre-order, we are permitted to order the Host(ess) sets at full price… a good thing since I wanted Best Thoughts stamp set as soon as I saw it.
Want to see the new In-Colors in action in addition to other new products? My designed card has all of the new In-Colors in addition to a couple of other new products. The floral and butterfly images from Best Thoughts stamp set (a hostess set for the new year) were inked with Momento tuxedo black ink onto Watercolor Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Delightful Dijon cardstock. All of these images were fussy cut. The Whisper White cardstock layer underneath the floral image was dry embossed with the new Boho Chic texturized impressions embossing folder … isn’t that a great texturizing design? The new Mint Macaron (the 4th new In-Color) 1″ Dotted Swiss Trim and the sentiment from Best Thoughts inked in Tip Top Taupe (another new In-Color) were layered onto more Whisper White cardstock. All of the card elements were placed on an A2 card base featuring Mint Macaron with an envelope made from the new Mint Macaron Envelope Paper, a new more lightweight paper that can be used as DSP or envelopes.
I am in love with the new In-Colors and the new products, and I am sure you will be also. Since most of my readers are other independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, the news is not new to you. But seeing the products this early might be. Please, dear reader, let me know if you have any questions on my project. In the meanwhile,
Have fun stamping,
