Memory keeping is something that has become very important to me, especially as time passes and the memories are not quite as keen as they were. I was so excited when Stampin’ Up! collaborated with Becky Higgins and her memory keeping philosophy available through Project Life. Her key philosophy is that it should be as easy as possible. We all have so much going on with our lives. But we must preserve the memories! How can we accomplish that without spending upteen minutes putting photos and journaling together?
Becky’s system is so easy! Start with the size album that makes sense for you. It could be 6″ x 8″ or 12″ x 12″. With this decision you then select the polypropylene page protectors. These pages are photo safe and come in various designs. They allow you to insert photos and journaling in a combination that is pleasing to you.
So what did Stampin’ Up! add to the Project Life experience? There are card collections for easy journaling plus embellishments to coordinate with the particular card collection. It is provided in a lovely little box that is easily identified as to the occasion with plenty of room to add the embellishment kit and journaling pens. Very easy, very compact and very organized! What more could you want when time is so precious!!
There are so many wonderful memories to document. I chose a page layout for my two dog children when they were six weeks and as old as three months. My husband has never had a puppy experience prior to Annie being part of our household. When I brought her home at six weeks and placed her in his lap, it was instant love. Libby took awhile longer to join our family and a little while longer for Bill to accept as another puppy to steal his heart. But it happened! These two bundles of joy are so completely different in their personalities and are so loved for bringing joy into our household!
