The An Open Heart stamp set was placed on my wish list when the annual catalog became available, and it was finally purchased on my last order. Don’t you just love that spunky little bird? I don’t know for sure but he looks like the Carolina Wrens that hop around my decks looking for insects. They and the Cardinals know that we have outside lights on all night which attracts the flying insects to the house. Each morning I always see birds feasting on the insects.
The Mojo Monday sketch 362 seemed the perfect opportunity for using this stamp set. The sketch and my card…
I flipped the sketch 180 degrees in order to accommodate the items where I desired. Sometimes a little manipulation is needed! On the whole the card is self explanatory. The supplies used are listed below.
The light casts the Blackberry Bliss cardstock as dark as Basic Black, but truly it is Blackberry Bliss. The remaining colors were selected to coordinate with the Park Lane designer series paper. That DSP has been my utmost favorite in this year’s annual catalog. I just finished putting together my working Designer Series Paper swatches for this year’s DSP collection. I am certain you have heard of Brian King! He was the inspiration for me doing this as a “tool” for me and my immediate down line members. I still need to work on paper stacks and holiday DSPs but finally got the others done…
Thanks for coming by to visit. I would love to hear from you if you have a moment to leave a comment. And, please, should you have any questions, please let me know… comment or email! In the meanwhile…
Have fun stamping!
