Welcome back to a new challenge for The Sisterhood of Crafters. I chose the theme for this two-week period, and it is perfect for this time of year. It is “Newly Acquired Stash“. With the holidays still in our rearview mirror, I feel certain that a lot of stampers have great new products to share! My new stash item is the Rose Vine bundle by Anna Griffin. And, why am I using an Anna Griffin product? My husband purchased the Anna Griffin Empress die-cutting and embossing machine for me while it was on sale over the holidays! Oh lucky me!!
The Rose Vine bundle includes 4 dies and a 3-D embossing folder. In order to better feature the embossed panel, I die-cut an oval shape from the center of the main die. It normally would not have this “hole.” The two red die-cuts are part of the bundle as is the red die cut used inside with the sentiment.
Please note that although the die-cuts and embossed image are not Stampin’ Up! products, everything else associated with the card is. The inside stamped images came from “Modern Heart,” a stamp set released in the 2019 Annual Catalog. I captured the heart image with white pigment ink and white sparkle emboss powder. Then I selectively masked the sentiments in order to stamp just the words desired. The gold and black designer paper is part of the Golden Honey DSP Sale-a-Bration offering.
Because this card is due to my husband’s generosity, it is only fitting that my first project is a Valentine’s card for him! I think he will like it, don’t you?
And, now it is your turn. Won’t you come to the The Sisterhood of Crafters challenge and share your newly acquired stash in our gallery! After all, we want to see!!
Have fun stamping,
