“Rosy” Celebrates News of Wedding Engagement

The Sisterhood of Crafters‘ new challenge starts today and ends July 7th.  And, it is all about occasions – ANY occasion!  You can’t have more fun than that with a challenge.  So, please come play along with us!  I selected a Wedding Engagement congratulations card for my occasion!

I used supplies from Everything is Rosy product medley to make several cards last month.  One was meant for my physical therapist who had just gotten engaged.  In addition to the wedding engagement card, the remaining cards are an assortment of happy birthday, thank you, anniversary, sympathy, and all occasion.  Once I started using Everything is Rosy, I didn’t want to break the momentum… you know what it’s like!  Had to use different stamp sets, dies, embossing folders, embellishments, and cardstock to see if it played well with other supplies!  Seems like it did, LOL!

Because I already gave away my featured card, I recreated my details from memory and my photo.  Really, I hate it when that happens, but here goes…

Card Details
  • Stamp Sets:  Everything is Rosy, Born to be Loved
  • Papers:  Night of Navy, Lovely Lipstick, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White cardstocks;  Everything is Rosy designer series paper
  • Inks:  Night of Navy, Lovely Lipstick
  • Tools:  Dies include Everything is Rosy, Lovely Flowers, Stitched Be Mine, and Stitched Rectangles; Subtle embossing folder;  Everything is Rosy embellishments include Night of Navy ribbon, printed die-cut labels and Rose Gold elements

Likewise, why don’t you select an occasion, make a project, and come play along with our challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters!  We love seeing you in our gallery!

So that I don’t drag on with Everything is Rosy cards for the next several weeks, I am sharing the finished cards thus far.  Please let me know if you have any questions regarding supplies that were used.  In the meanwhile,

Have fun stamping,

Katy

Wow! Your engagement card is so pretty! You really make me regret not purchasing this kit but am so glad that you had a BALL with it! The colors and textures are classic – perfect for this occasion. Now, the rest of your cards are stunners, too!! Love the variety you got – from layouts to great details! Have a great week, Real Sis!
