RRCB 79 shows You Are Loved

Retro Rubber is back for the second challenge of the new year!  And, it is just in time to help focus on Valentine’s Day cards!  Loved is in the air and hopefully on your mind.  Use the photo on the left to inspire your card.  “You Are Loved” stamp set is featured on my card.  It was released by Stampin’ Up! in the 2011 mini holiday catalog.  There are 7 total images in this retired stamp set.  And it will remain in my forever stash!

You Are Loved, Hearts, Valentine's Day, RRCB

There are several retired products decorating this card, but the designer series paper is current.  It is shown on page 189 in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017-2018 annual catalog.  This specialty designer series paper is called Bundle of Love.  One of my favorite details is the use of same images with coordinating colors as well as the liberal use of gold foil.  Simply stunning!

Additional designs from this designer paper were cut with 2 sizes of framelits from the Sweet & Sassy framelit set.  Liberal layers of Very Vanilla paper, doily, and thick baker’s twine are mixed with Blushing Bride details.  Gold embossing powder, featured on the stamped heart and sentiment, continued the use of gold highlights.  And, although the texture was added by using the retired Falling Petals embossing folder, don’t they also look like hearts?

You can really see the inspiration from the photo here, Katy. I like your extra touches of fold and the falling hearts folder is a great choice for the base.

My apologies for the late comment Katy, been so busy with remodeling in the house.
I love the golden and pink details on your card, especially the heart with the gold embossing.
    Lovely and elegant!!
