Have you received your My Paper Pumpkin kit yet? I could hardly wait to take mine out of the pretty red package and start putting it together. I had a preliminary MPP gathering last night for several team members who could not make the last Monday of this month’s MPP club.
We played with several ideas for changes. My kit projects mainly incorporate additional accessories such as the vintage wooden buttons, the two tone baker’s twine and the Fall Fest bundle from this year’s Holiday catalog. Several of the pumpkin images were stamped with the “rock and roll” technique to incorporate additional coloration to the edges of the image. Of the six burlap pockets, one was permanently sewn shut with the pouch in an open position with Tangerine Tango baker’s twine so that taller items could be inserted… it is the one with Casper! Casper was also placed on the backside of the pouch so that two sides have some detail. And when the pockets were done, remaining left over pieces were used to make a pretty cute Halloween card!

I am certain that within the next couple of weeks, we will see an abundance of great projects built around this Paper Pumpkin! What a great kit to start your Halloween planning! Please do let me know if you have any questions regarding the subscription for My Paper Pumpkin or my additional supplies utilized outside of the substantial product provided with the Paper Pumpkin kit as subscribed.
There are so many wonderful items in this year’s Holiday catalog! Lots of kits that take almost nothing to put together, great stamps and paper to entice you to plan your own card visions, and great resources to allow you to recreate fantastic cards and/or projects if you feel that your creativity needs a boost. Not only that, but Stampin’ Up! is offering a holiday supplement this year for as long as supplies last. It will debut in October, so be sure to check back with me for details.
Ordering is so easy… either place your own order in my 24/7 online shopping link (see right sidebar) or send me an email and I will place the order for you.
