Simply Sketched Meets Blendabilities

I hope these Simply Sketched cards provide an apology for my absence during this past month.  Life just gets in the way sometimes.  I do sincerely hope that I have not lost your attention during this absence, but it was necessary for me and my family.

Now, on to the cards…

Did you notice anything different?  You are seeing samples of the new Stampin’ Up! 2014-2016 In-Colors!  I am in LOVE!  Yes, you may say that I always love the new colors, and that is true!  How can you not!!!  Their names bring forth lovely and sweet visions…  Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist.  My samples show the first three colors with the hostess stamp set that will retire this month.  This time last year I was totally in love with Simply Sketched and that love has not been lost.  If it is not already unavailable, you should consider adding it to your stamp collection.  The size is perfect for 3 x 3″ cards as well as the A2 cards…  lovely by itself or with additional layers and embellishments.

The Blendabilities (compare to Copics!) used for these cards include Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry.  These alcohol ink markers make coloring and shading almost a remembrance of child’s play…  so much fun! Do you remember new coloring books and crayons?  I do!  Warning… playing with Blendabilities could be addictive!

The new Moonlight designer series paper pack provides a great collection of the new in-colors along with some trusty neutral colors.  At 48 sheets for $6.95, it is certainly a great value for cardmaking!

Now for a few close-ups for these cards…

Did you notice that sweet little heart after the “thanks”?  Keep that in mind when the new catalog is unveiled!

As usual, I wish you a great creativity day…
