Welcome to the Pals’ May Blog Hop. We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects with “More Than One Score.” You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The Time for Tea suite of products and an unusual card fold called Tent Pop-up provided lots of inspiration for this month’s blog hop theme of more than 1 score. I found information regarding this unusual card fold on the internet. However, my sister Denise’s birthday card to me a couple of weeks ago was my template. The only difference is that I increased the overall card size to use an entire sheet of 12″ x 12″ cardstock.
Once the scores and strategic cutting are done, the card is ready to decorate. Each portion of the card fold is embellished like a tiny vignette. Then, the card is assembled!
This is how the card looks prior to the tent pop-up.
Time for Tea Product Suite Details
- The product suite is shown on pages 14 and 15 of the 2018 – 2019 Stampin’ Up! annual catalog.
- The suite contains the stamp set Time for Tea, Spot of Tea dies, Tea Room Specialty designer series paper, Tea Room Memories and More card pack, Tea Room Ribbon combo pack, and the Tea Room copper vinyl stickers.
- The product suite will retire on June 3, 2019.
It is so hard to believe this is the first time I have played with the products. So trust me when I say I will be purchasing additional supplies of this product suite for my forever stash!
Please note the bottom left panel is hidden during the pop-up assembly. However, it provides a wonderful private area to write a personal note to the recipient. The bottom right panel is decorated at an angle so that it faces front once the card is completely assembled. Additionally, I used a scrap of paper in accordion fashion to assist the popping up of the sentiment panel for this panel.
