Triple Time Stamping for the PPA 270 Color Challenge

PPA 270 Oct. 1It has been awhile since I tried Triple Time Stamping.  With the great color challenge at PPA this week, I wanted to display a stamp set that would not necessarily evoke Autumn.  Don’t get me wrong… I just love the fall season.  It is such a breath of fresh air after the hot Georgia summer.  This remains my most favorite season of all!  Just trying to provide an alternative idea.

An Open HeartAn Open Heart stamp set by Stampin’ Up! provides so much what I love about nature…  beautiful foliage, great bird image and amazing sentiments that can be used in so many situations.  The bird did not come out as strongly as I had desired with the stamp.  I even tried using the blending pen to increase the coloration. It helped but still not as much as I wanted.  The foliage as I applied against the three layers of whisper white cardstock jiggled a bit… but not so much that I wanted to discard the image.  Leaves do move, don’t you know!

In order to obtain the Blackberry Bliss colors, I had to photograph against a darker color… not my favorite but it works.

The Designer Team at Pals Paper Arts has an amazing inspiration gallery for you to peruse.  We hope you will join us this week with this amazing color combination.

Have fun stamping,

I really like this card and would like to make one like it. Do you have the dimensions somewhere online? I think your bird looks lovely as a lighter version. Beautiful card.

This card is wonderful for Fall, which is my favorite season as well. I just have to enjoy it without thinking of what’s to come! The bird stamp is one of my absolute favorites! I don’t do square cards often but you have me thinking to do one now! Beautifully done!!
