My Story

My Story "Waiting for Mom"

My Story includes my sweet fur babies

My Story starts with a home in the Kennesaw/Marietta, GA area along with my husband and our two miniature schnauzer fur babies.

I have always loved to craft.  It started with embroidery, crewel, macrame, cross-stitch, and knitting/crocheting.  I was introduced to stamping in 2005 at my first Stampin’ Up! workshop.  I quickly developed a passion for all that you can do with this art.  It is so much more than cards and tags!  I joined Stampin’ Up! in 2010 as an independent hobby demonstrator and have loved every second of it.

Why did I choose Stampin’ Up! for My Story?
  • The variety, quality and coordination of their products is superior.
  • There are wonderful promotions.
  • It is a family oriented business that supports its demonstrators as if we, too, were part of the family.
Why does My Story include joining in a non-business capacity?  Simple…
  • It means that I can place my own purchases at my timing preferences
  • I get to see and purchase new products before they are released to the general public
  • I receive a 25% discount on my own purchases.
Why did My Story begin with Mary Fish?

Mary Fish’s leadership and success is phenomenal, and I have thoroughly enjoyed being an active member of her Stampin’ Pretty Pals group.  The support in this group is incredible.  Many of us are hobby demonstrators who just love to share our crafting enthusiasm.  If this appeals to you, please consider joining us.

Why a Blog?
  • It is an extension of me and My Story!
  • I started my WordPress blog “Just Fun Stamping”  (https://justfunstamping.com) in order to participate in challenges and blog hops.  My availability and willingness to blog is directly related to what is happening in my personal world.  I offer no excuses for absences that allow time for rejuvenation of spirit and creativity.
  • You may have followed me initially on the Stampin’ Up demonstrator DBWS site which is their basic website.  It has direct connections to my Stampin’ Up! online store and additional promotion information.  However, I could not personalize my site as desired.  My personal WordPress blog provides direct links to the same online store, the promotions  and “joining my team” pages from within “Just Fun Stamping” (https://justfunstamping.com).

Now that you know a little about me, I hope to see you visit often!

Have fun stamping,

Katy
